Dr Michael Barbarino

Completed a five year double degree in Osteopathy and has been qualified since 2006. In March 2007 Michael opened Beachside Osteopathic & Sports Therapy after 2yrs of operating a remedial massage business.

Michael has over 10 years experience in the Sports Medicine field and still has a major role in the coordination of Medical Staff and Injury Management for:

• Parkdale Vultures Football Club;
• Mordialloc Football Club, and;
• Mordialloc Life Saving Club.

Involvement in the sporting environments listed above has equipped Michael with extensive experience in Sports Injuries.

Michael has also:

• been lecturing since 2007 for Sports Medicine Australia on a wide variety of topics.
• spent over 3 years treating elderly patients at Baxter Retirement Village, gaining much experience in providing gentle yet effective treatment.
• spent 3 years working with GPs and other Allied Health Practitioners at Peninsula Family General Practice.
